The Anglican Women’s Fellowship was started in 1967. Our association of women in the church is linked to all other similar fellowships in other Anglican Churches. Regular combined meetings occur headed by an elected president and committee. A provincial meeting is organised every two years. We are all guided by the same handbook.
The Communications group ensures that our parishioners, visitors and those who pass the Church are aware of the happenings in the parish. We use various media to reach all. These include a monthly magazine, pew leaflet, and notice boards both inside and outside the church.
We use a number of different avenues to raise funds, namely Barn Dances, Jumble Sales, Quiz Evenings, Mini Fetes, and ticket sales for EADS (Edenvale Amateur Dramatic Society). The funds raised is used to keep the church in a healthy financial position and to support our outreach programs.
We pray for anyone who may have health, financial, matrimonial, or any other problem. Problems are given as a request for prayer to an initiator and is circulated to a list of dedicated prayers who will pray for the individual or loved one and commit the problem to God.
